SINOPSIS :
It has been an honor to provide testimony for Ecoquest, written by Fransisca Windy. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this insightful and timely book. Its release couldn’t have come at a better moment. As someone deeply involved in the design and planning of IKN Nusantara, I couldn’t help but draw parallels between the storyline of Ecoquest and the vision of the Forest City in IKN—they resonate uncannily with each other.
As a father of two young girls, I can envision future generations finding immense joy in this book. It’s not just fun; it also carries the spirit of adventure and discovery. Young readers will learn about green and sustainable practices, not in a dry, theoretical manner, but through an engaging and adventurous narrative. It’s a very clever approach! I can easily imagine Ecoquest inspiring interactive experiences or even evolving into a game, effectively introducing the values of sustainability at an early age.
The book’s themes fit perfectly within the framework of IKN Nusantara, and I can imagine government officers and their young families embarking on real-life eco-quests within the city itself.
In an age where many online games promote materialism, violence, or superficial achievements, Ecoquest offers a much-needed alternative. It fosters a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship, sustainable living in urban areas, and the wisdom embedded in our cultural connection to nature. This is the kind of narrative we desperately need for the younger generation.
I believe Ecoquest will play an important role in shaping this narrative, and I wish it all the success it deserves. I look forward to seeing it on bookstore shelves soon.
